About Lenny Physical Therapy

Lenny Physical Therapy, LLC was formed in 2000 by Edmund J. Lenny, PT. Mr. Lenny resigned from his position as a therapist-center manager for a large national corporate physical therapy provider in order to open an owner operated, low volume, hands-on practice.

After graduating from The University of Medicine and Dentistry Physical Therapy program in 1984, Mr. Lenny took his first position as a staff therapist at the progressive Newcomb Medical Center in Vineland, NJ. At the same time he worked part time at South Jersey Physical Therapy Associates, PA, which to many was considered the premier out-patient orthopaedic practice in the region. After about two years at Newcomb, he resigned to work full time at South Jersey Physical Therapy Associates, PA.

Over more than 13 years at South Jersey Physical Therapy Associates, Mr. Lenny established himself as a top regional orthhopaedic/sports clinician, and one of the very few truly trained and experienced TMJ sub-specialists. In this same period he was an adjunct professor at Rowan University teaching in the Athletic Training curriculum. While Mr. Lenny has enjoyed teaching students and professionals in the fields of athletic training, physical therapy, dentistry and medicine, he has never stopped being a full-time clinician.

Lenny Physical Therapy is conventionally unconventional. We practice in the conventional paradigm with established and innovative modalities, and an alternative perspective. We are the antithesis of volume healthcare. Our purpose is to provide an excellent experience to each of our patients - from the first intake phone call to the last treatment and beyond. Our philosophy is to intervene, educate and inspire. We believe lasting wellness occurs only after identifying and treating the deep underlying conditions that are contributing to, if not causing, the current complaints. We foster and promote independence, not reliance. We pledge to offer the highest level of clinical expertise in a truly comfortable, caring setting.
